Privacy Policy for the “Headaches” Mobile Application

1. General information

This Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) explains how the “Headaches” mobile application (the “App”) processes and protects users’ data.

By using the App, you confirm that you have read this Policy and agree to its terms.

2. Data we process

The App is designed to help you keep a headache/migraine diary and may store the following data that you enter yourself:

  • Attack entries:
    • start and end date/time;
    • pain intensity;
    • triggers (stress, weather, diet, etc.);
    • symptoms (nausea, light sensitivity, etc.);
    • pain location;
    • additional notes (free‑form text).
  • Technical settings:
    • selected theme (light/dark);
    • export settings;
    • internal usage counters (for example, to decide when to show a support‑the‑developer screen).

We do not request or process:

  • your full name, address, phone number, or e‑mail;
  • location data;
  • bank card details or other payment information;
  • account data from third‑party services.

3. Source and storage of data

  • All data you enter in the App is stored locally on your device in the app’s database and files.
  • The App does not sync data to remote servers and does not automatically send it to the developer.
  • When you uninstall the App or use the “Delete all data” function (in Settings), the entries are removed from the device and are no longer accessible to the developer.

4. How we use your data

Your data is used solely for the following purposes:

  • keeping a personal diary of headache/migraine attacks;
  • displaying statistics (number of attacks, average intensity, common triggers and symptoms);
  • generating a PDF report that you can export yourself and share with your doctor or other recipients of your choice.

The App does not use your data for advertising, profiling, or behavior analytics.

5. Sharing data with third parties

The App does not automatically share your entries with third parties.

Data may be shared only at your initiative, in the following cases:

  • when you use the PDF export function and personally send the file via e‑mail, messenger, cloud storage, etc.;
  • when you follow external links (for example, to the developer’s support page on Boosty). In this case, the privacy policies of the respective websites and services apply.

6. Android permissions

To operate, the App may request the following permissions:

  • INTERNET — to:
    • open external links (for example, to the support page);
    • perform system operations related to file export (using standard platform tools).
  • VIBRATE — for possible use of vibration (if such functionality is added).

The App does not use permissions that request extended access to the device.

7. Security

  • Data is stored using the operating system’s standard mechanisms on your device.
  • We recommend enabling a screen lock and other device‑level protections to prevent unauthorized access to the App and your entries.
  • When you export a PDF report, the further security of that file depends on the transfer method and recipients you choose.

8. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to:

  • choose not to enter any data into the App;
  • delete individual entries or all data at any time (via “Settings” → “Delete all data”);
  • uninstall the App, which will remove locally stored data from your device.

9. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. The current version is always available in the App listing on the store.

By continuing to use the App after the Policy has been updated, you agree to the updated version.
